Guitars of Vintage is a one man band based in Oxfordshire. It’s not a business, just me selling guitars privately, after having enjoyed them myself. They may not be museum or collector grade guitars, but they have a history and a vibe that spoke to me.
ABOUT GUITARS OF VINTAGE
Who am I? Good question, I’m glad you asked. I’ve been playing guitar since my design college days. I bought my first electric guitar from a used music shop in the back alleys of Southport. It was a Columbus Les Paul copy. It cost me £45 quid and I still have it.
I’ve also built a few electric guitars; one from scratch and others as Partsocasters and I’ve handwired and built a Deluxe amp from a Trinity Amps kit. I may not be the best player, but I like guitars. I like the design, the associated musical history, the object of desire.
Here’s a quick peek at some of the guitars I have for sale. Click on the thumbnail to go to that guitar page for more detail or the buy now button below to visit the shop window!
Buying my guitars is pretty easy through PayPal, which is a safe and secure way to make a payment. UK postage (£35) will be added to the amount payable when you purchase the guitar. Simply click on the Buy Now buttons and it’ll take you to the PayPal site for payment through your PayPal account to mine. It’s easy to create one if you don’t have one already. I do not handle any part of your payment details, so nice and safe for both of us!
Please take time to look at the photo’s and read the description of the condition of my guitars. Feel free to contact me with further questions.
I’ll pack and post the guitars out myself, and will take care in doing so. Most of the guitars I sell come with a hard case for extra protection during transit. I’ll send via Parcelforce 48hr delivery within five days of purchase.
Any international buyers will need to contact me before buying regarding postage. Any local taxes and duties will need to paid by the buyer. Due to recent CITES regulations about exporting any rosewood across borders I can only sell to UK and EU without a CITES certificate.
